Twitter has released a mechanism to add alt text to images in profile settings, but most people still don't use it. This plugin shows which images are missing relevant alt text by replacing the images with a meme image captioned "DO YOU EVEN ALT TEXT?". That way, you know who adds alt text and can celebrate their efforts, and who you can remind to do it. Go to https://twitter.com/settings/accessibility to turn on alt text descriptions!
