EveryBlock makes late-night browsing easier on the eyes and skips the parts of YouTube videos you don't want to watch. It all runs inside your browser.

Smart Night Mode

• Turns on by itself between the hours you choose (default 20:00 to 07:00).
• Two methods. Element-based (default) darkens each page's own backgrounds and fixes text that would become unreadable, keeping the site's look. Filter (invert) flips the page's colors and restores photos and videos to their true colors.
• Pages that are already dark are left alone in filter mode.
• Pages with many videos use the element-based method automatically, even if you chose Filter.
• The X-Ray option leaves images inverted as well.

YouTube Sponsor Skip and Chapter Filter

• Reads the chapter titles that creators add to their videos and skips the ones that match: Sponsor, Intro, Outro, Self promotion, Interaction reminder (like / comment / notification prompts).
• Add your own keywords, one per line (for example "vpn" or "sponsor"). Any chapter whose title contains the word is skipped. Changes apply immediately.
• You stay in control: if you jump into a skipped chapter yourself, it plays instead of being skipped again. Jump to an earlier point and the filter is active again when playback reaches that chapter.
• It only works on videos that have chapters. It does not use a crowd-sourced database.
• If it skips the entire video, you can disable the "YouTube Sponsor Skip -> Intro" option.

Privacy

• No accounts, no analytics, no telemetry. Nothing is sent to any server run by us.
• Settings are stored locally in your browser. No remote code is loaded.
• Permissions: storage (to keep your settings), all websites (to apply night mode on the pages you visit) and YouTube (for skipping).

Languages: English, Türkçe, Español, Русский, Français, Deutsch. The interface follows your browser language.
