Firmhold Companion is the browser half of Firmhold, a relapse tracker for men trying to quit porn.

It does not block anything.

Most recovery tools try to stand between you and a website. This one does not. It watches for sustained time on sites you have personally chosen to monitor, including tabs open in the background, and then it does one thing: it puts a card on your Firmhold dashboard asking what that was. You answer relapse, survived urge, or false positive. Nothing reaches your log until you say so.

The point is an honest record. Logging a relapse is easiest to skip exactly when it matters most, and a log with the worst nights missing produces patterns that are wrong. The extension closes that gap without taking the decision away from you.

WHAT IT DOES
- Notices sustained time on the sites you chose, across every open tab, not just the one in front of you
- Asks you to confirm what happened, and never logs on its own
- Records when it actually happened, so time-of-day patterns stay accurate
- Works alongside the Firmhold app, where the patterns are computed

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
- No blocking, no redirecting, no shame screens
- No reading page content
- No AI. Pattern analysis in Firmhold is deterministic code, and no third-party AI service ever processes your data
- No accountability partner. Nothing you do is reported to another person

PERMISSIONS
Firmhold Companion asks for tab access once, with an explanation, so it can see which sites are open. It reads addresses only, never page content. The monitored domain list is yours and you control it.
