This is in my opinion the most privacy friendly bookmark syncing method. It is very easy to set up; you only need to install the nextcloud app and point the extension to it.

Cette application est incroyable... depuis des années je cherchais un moyen de synchroniser mes bookmarks entre tous mes machines et les différents browsers edge, firefox, chrome c'est enfin chose faite. Dommage que les limitations d'apple ne permettent pas à l'extension de gérer directement les bookmark safari sur IOS. L'appli sur IOS dépanne toutefois, après sur mes mobiles je n'ai jamais vraiment géré les bookmarks.

Excellent customizable bookmark manager. Turn on auto-sync only in the main browser (in the others - manual). If you work in several browsers at the same time, then with auto-sync there may be artifacts...
