I never really liked honey too much, since it never got me any codes. After the latest controversy though? This extension should be removed from all stores because of the extent of the scam this whole thing is.

Literally a scam that doesn't show you the biggest discount codes if the company you're ordering from pays them.
Also abuses the "last click"-system (their pop-up messages right at check-out) to plant their own affiliate cookies and steal any affiliate commissions from your favorite creator.

Honey actively hides "the best deals" for their business partners. They also steal affiliate money from creators

they lie about offering the best coupons, and they steal from creators/reviewers by injecting their affiliate link instead of theirs. AND they log your shopping habits

This is INSANELY predatory.

This add on actively overwrites affiliate links and takes the profit for themselves. It is also fraud. It claims to find all the coupons on the internet when in reality it only uses coupons the companies approve and better deals can be found manually. It also adds false coupons costing companies hundreds of dollars. This add on is massively fraudulent and should not be available for consumers.
