We’ve been working hard to make our extension faster and more reliable while you work on your Jira boards. This update addresses the "flickering" or "dropping" of colors that some users experienced after the board loaded.

Improvements & Fixes
Stable Card Colors: Fixed an issue where card colors would disappear a few seconds after loading the board or after applying a filter. The extension is now "smarter" and will automatically re-apply your settings if Jira updates the page layout in the background.

Real-time Coloring: Improved the way colors are applied to new cards. When you create a new task on your board, the background color will now appear instantly without needing to refresh the page.

Better Performance: We’ve optimized the connection between the extension and Jira to ensure everything stays "green" and connected, even on very large boards with hundreds of tasks.

This update fixes critical visibility issues on your Jira boards, ensuring that data is always accessible and easy to read, regardless of your display settings.

What's New:

Restored Card Insights: We have resolved a technical issue that prevented Card Insights from appearing on Jira boards. You can now once again access all metrics and contextual information directly on your cards.

Improved Dark Mode Readability: We fixed a contrast issue occurring when custom "Card Colors" were used alongside Jira's Dark Mode. Text and icons now automatically adjust to a high-contrast white or inverse color, ensuring perfect legibility against any background color.

• New Product Support: The extension now supports the "Card Colors" app independently. If you only have a license for Card Colors, you will see card highlighting features without the WIP limits.
• Unified Experience: Whether you use "Kanban Combined WIP" or "Card Colors," a single extension now manages both, automatically detecting your licenses and enabling the correct features.

• Stability: Fixed an issue where styles could be injected twice in certain scenarios.

Fixed an issue where the extension would reload unnecessarily when using Quick Filters or selecting issues. You will now experience smoother, flicker-free navigation on the board.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed "Manage Apps" Screen Conflict: Resolved an issue where the extension caused the Jira Cloud "Manage Apps" administration screen to malfunction or fail to load. You can now access your apps management page without needing to disable the extension.
• Corrected Parent Column Counts: The issue count displayed on parent column headers (e.g., "Development") now correctly sums the cards from all child columns across all active swimlanes. Previously, it would incorrectly display the count from only the first swimlane

Bug Fixes:

Fixed a visual bug that caused Kanban board column headers to become misaligned. This issue occurred when swimlanes were configured but not currently visible, and the fix ensures a clean and consistent board layout in all views.

This update introduces full compatibility with Jira's new board UI, enhances usability with clearer limit indicators, and includes several bug fixes and internal improvements for better performance and stability.

Features & Improvements
Jira's New UI Compatibility: The extension is now fully compatible with Jira's new board user interface. All your favorite features will now work seamlessly on the updated Jira layout. As part of this update:
- The Kanban Combined WIP controls button has been updated to an icon-only button that integrates cleanly into the new UI toolbar and includes a descriptive tooltip.
- The min/max limit badges have been restyled to match the modern look and feel of the new UI. For better clarity, they now also include tooltips explaining their function and will display "Min:" and "Max:" labels on wider columns.

Bug Fixes
Script Loading on New UI: Fixed a bug where the extension would not load correctly when navigating between different boards or pages using Jira's sidebar. The extension now reliably detects page changes and re-initializes without needing a full-page refresh.
Combined Header Loading: Resolved an issue where combined column headers would sometimes fail to appear due to changes in Jira's layout rendering. The detection of the board's structure is now more robust, ensuring headers load consistently.

Dependency Updates: We've updated numerous internal dependencies to their latest versions for improved security and performance.
UI Component Refactor: Internal UI components, such as icons and buttons, have been updated to use standardized versions from the design library for better consistency and maintainability.

Enhanced Card Insights:
- Keep track of time elapsed since commitment with the new "Days since Committed" feature directly on your cards.
- Color-coded backgrounds provide instant visual cues:
- Green indicates a future due date.
- Orange warns when a due date is approaching within one week.
- Red signals that a due date has been exceeded.

Lead Time Calculation:
- Once a ticket is resolved, the card dynamically switches to display "Lead Time" instead of "Days since Committed".
- Lead Time is calculated as resolved date minus committed date.
- Background colors signify:
- Green if the due date is equal to or later than the resolved date.
- Red if the due date is earlier than the resolved date.

Dependency Visibility:
- The "has dependencies" icon is now intelligently displayed only for cards with linked issues, streamlining your view and focusing attention where it's needed most.

New Feature: Introducing the ability to configure and display "Days since committed" and "Lead Time" directly within your cards. But that's not all – now, the background color changes dynamically to green, orange, or red based on the proximity to or exceeding of the Due Date. When an issue is resolved, the "Days since commit" transforms into the "Lead Time", highlighted in green if resolved before the due date or red if resolved after. With these intuitive signals integrated into your cards, gain a comprehensive overview of your Kanban board at a glance.
