Note Pierce turns the little gaps in your day into ear training.

Taking a break? Browsing the web? About to open another feed or start doomscrolling? Open a quick drill instead or keep Note Pierce beside you while you browse. Ten questions can take only a few minutes and over time, those small sessions add up!

No blank page wondering what to work on. Just listen. Choose. Tap. Learn what you missed. And come back a little better next time.

EAR TRAINING ACROSS SIX MODULES
Work through 160 progressive levels covering:
• Intervals — start with higher-or-lower and progress to identifying intervals by ear
• Chords — recognize chord qualities and increasingly complex harmony
• Scales — learn to distinguish the sound and character of different scales
• Progressions — train chord progressions, harmonic movement and function
• Inversions — hear how a chord changes when a different note is in the bass
• Rhythm — listen and choose notation, tap along, or tap rhythms back from memory
Start with the fundamentals and gradually move into more advanced harmony, interval recognition and rhythm training.

BUILD THE EAR TRAINING DRILL YOU ACTUALLY NEED, TAILORED FOR YOU
• You need to stop confusing two intervals. Hear the difference between two chords. Work on a few scales. Practice one difficult rhythm.
• Custom Drills let you choose exactly what you want to train.
• Select intervals, chords, scales, progressions, inversions or rhythms and adjust settings such as root note, direction, octave range, tempo and exercise mode.
• Save drills such as “Modes I confuse” or “C#11 chord inversions” and come back whenever you need them.

REVIEW WHAT YOU ACTUALLY MISS
Getting a question wrong shouldn't disappear when the next question appears.
Note Pierce tracks the individual sounds you struggle with.
• Weak Spots shows what needs more practice
• Review brings material back when it is due. Review helps you decide what to practice TODAY
• Spaced repetition helps you master everything without forgetting
• Practice individual weak items instead of repeating an entire lesson

SEE WHAT'S GETTING BETTER
• Follow your ear training progress across modules and levels.
• See your progress analysis.
• See how many questions you answered, accuracy, practice time, and your activity heat map of how consistent you were.
• Look back through weekly, monthly and yearly recaps, save or share recap cards, and collect badges as you progress.
• No guilt streaks. Missing a day doesn't erase your progress. Come back when you can even if today's practice is only a few minutes.
