Porchcast Companion keeps the podcast studio you are using within reach while you work elsewhere in the browser.

Open the movable companion from the toolbar to:

• return to your current or recent Porches;
• see whether a Porch is live, recording, preparing files, or ready;
• open your Porchcast recordings and account;
• book a new Porch without interrupting an active recording tab; and
• receive one toolbar alert per finished recording, with optional system notifications when you choose to enable them.

Porchcast remains the secure source of truth. Camera, microphone, screen share, chat, recording, rendering, downloads, identity, and billing stay in the Porchcast web app. The extension does not capture media, read unrelated browsing history, store invitation links, or store room, media, account, or download credentials.

The companion works without a paid plan. Optional Porchcast subscriptions sold by Wiplash.ai through Stripe on the website provide larger guest and recording allowances; no payment is collected inside the extension.
