Recent Bookmarks makes the bookmarks already built into your browser more useful.
Save pages normally, organize them with bookmark folders, then use Recent Bookmarks to review what you've recently saved. Search your recent bookmarks, filter them by date or folder, and export useful sets when you're ready to use them somewhere else.
Features include:
View recently saved bookmarks with dates and folder context
Search bookmarks by title or URL
Filter by date range
Filter by one or more bookmark folders
Select a parent folder to include bookmarks from its subfolders
Export the current filtered set as JSON
Export standard Bookmark HTML for use with browsers and other tools
Light and dark theme support
Private by design. Recent Bookmarks does not use analytics or tracking and does not send your bookmarks to an external service. Bookmark processing and exports happen locally on your device.

Version 1.1 adds bookmark folder context and filtering along with JSON and standard Bookmark HTML export. Future development will explore ways to make browser bookmarks more useful as part of research and knowledge workflows while keeping the extension simple and privacy-focused.
Recent Bookmarks is developed openly with AI-assisted pair programming. Bug reports, feature ideas, testing, documentation, and code contributions are welcome through the project's GitHub repository.
