SnapWeb for Firefox is a lightweight compatibility extension that enables Snapchat Web to load within Firefox.

Snapchat Web frequently restricts or blocks access for Firefox users by detecting the browser environment. This extension restores access by systematically spoofing the User-Agent string to emulate Google Chrome, allowing the website to load and function as intended.

Why I created SnapWeb
I developed this extension because existing solutions often felt opaque, frequently relying on external pings, telemetry, or suspicious background updates. I wanted a solution that respected user privacy and transparency. SnapWeb is built to be purely local, the code is as clean as it gets, with absolutely no external dependencies or tracking. You can inspect the source code yourself to verify exactly how it functions.
