so far, this is the first extension that i have ran in to that does not decrease the audio to a 128kbps mp3 file when grabbing music from soundcloud (: no ads, and so far has worked flawlessly. my only request would be to retain the metadata for the audio bit rate so that it pulls into Serato (it seems to either show as 0 or 1 in there now, even though that is obviously not the case) i can hear the difference, will def be sharing this with my friends

Hi, i didn't even try it out yet, tbh. I just wanted to ask how this add on works. And by that i don't mean how to use it, but how it functions? Where does the audio file come from, where (aparently locally?) and how is it generated? Why is Go+ required for full quality? (I have Go+ so it's not an issue, just wondering) And is it legal? Does the artist gain something from my download? I sure hope so... Great! It works, and it even grabs metadata as said. However, you might want to note that some the person who posted the song may not be the actual author, so it won't be perfect. But hey, you can pay soundcloud or something if you want things perfect.

The best browser addon for downloading from Soundcloud with correct metadata, you can ever download entire playlists with it.
