Privacy Policy — SuperrPaperr Clipper

SuperrPaperr Clipper is the official Superr browser extension. Your library belongs to you; this policy explains exactly what the extension touches and what it never does.

1. What we collect

Account & sign-in. You sign in with Apple. The extension receives an identity token from Apple and exchanges it for Superr session tokens, stored locally in your browser's extension storage. We never see your Apple password, and if you use Hide My Email we never see your real email address.

Content you explicitly clip. When you click Save, the extension reads the page you are viewing (or the PDF's bytes) and sends that content — title, author, text, and source link — to Superr's servers, where it is stored as a document in your SuperrPaperr library. This happens only on your explicit action.

Product usage analytics (first-party only). We record product events — for example that a clip was saved and whether it was an article, page, or PDF, or that sign-in succeeded or failed — on Superr's own self-hosted analytics server. These events never include the content, title, or address of the pages you clip, and no third-party analytics or advertising services are involved. On Firefox, you can turn this off in the add-on's data-collection settings ("Technical and interaction data").

2. Your browsing history. The extension does not track, log, or transmit the pages you visit; it interacts with a page only when you explicitly click Save.
3. Keystrokes, form entries, or cookies from the sites you visit.
4. Nothing is sold or shared with third parties, and there is no advertising.
5. Where your data lives

Clipped documents and your account are stored on Superr's own infrastructure. Analytics data is stored on Superr's own self-hosted server. No third-party processors receive your content.

2. Sign out at any time from the extension popup — this removes the session tokens from your browser.
3. On Firefox, opt out of usage analytics in the add-on's data-collection settings.
4. To delete your account and all associated data, use account deletion in the SuperrPaperr app or contact us.
