Nice to have my todo list always available in the browser.

Todoist extension is just fine and does most things you need for managing todoist tasks.
I have to say that it is not terribly useful, mostly because also todoist web site works very well.

Useful

It shows me the badge count of tasks I have, but when I click on it, 90% of the time I just get a blank window pop up.

Works as expected if you are already familiar with todoist. It's not slow like some similar extensions.

Rather than separate Tasks/To Dos I would prefer it was just a single Rich text (or plain text) page with multiple lines (like a page in Wordpad)
Perhaps you could allow multiple pages OR perhaps allow any one of your current To Do's to expand to the Wordpad'ish page i mentioned (But I can live with just one long page)
