Translate Web Pages appears to be injecting code into web pages even when it's not used - the developer was notified twice over a week ago, both through email and at github, and has not responded

THIS !!! This is so good ! Every other add-on will just open another page; pop-up or translate it through a google translate window. This one however DIRECTLY turns the text into English which was exactly what I was looking for ! The man that made this is a god damn genius, it is so much better this way !

Thanks Filipe for this addon. Works better than any other translation addon for Firefox. At par with, if not better that Chrome's inbuilt translation service.

@Filipe, What do you think about adding dictionary service also to this addon? something like - when you select a text, two icons appears, one for translation as it is currently and another icon for invoking dictionary meanings of selected text/word.
