Twitch has tried many times to kill it. Twitch has failed many times to kill it. It may take a few days but the alt player always lives.

So. Many. QoL features packed into one amazing extension. Can't go back to the default Twitch player anymore. Keep up the excellent work!

Great extension. Twitch without adds and many other features. Whenever twitch tries to mess with it, functionality is restored within a few days.

I have used this add-on for quite some time and unfortunately it is broken right now.
5 stars because I know that it'll soon be fixed :)

please fix it. since today not working

Exact same issues it's always had on twitch, just says "Hiding ads", rather than blocking them and continuing to play the stream. Rare updates to this addon make it even worse because it'll be literal months before the creator even looks at it, let along updates it.

EDIT 24 Aug 2023 -- it works again! not sure what changed at twitch, but this plugin works again. I'd give it ten stars if I could.

Leaving a five-star review as I've used this plugin for years and it was great...

Unfortunately, on 5/31/2023, Twitch changed something on their back end and now streams just show Broadcast ended.

It's a great player, though I wish we had a volume booster. The volume booster add on I have doesn't seem to affect this players volume.

Was good while it worked twitch pushed out an update which required an autorization ID to allow streams to play so all ad-blockers will need to be updated to work (if a bypass can be found) and i doubt alternate player will be updated as the last update was in 2022

Streams stopped loading. It just says "Broadcast ended" on every stream now..
