The extension mostly works. I'd love to rate 5 stars. But I have a very annoying issue where the playback keeps flickering a brief black screen every 10 or 15 seconds throughout the stream. Please advise a workaround or implement a fix for this.

edit: downgraded to 1 star because the consistent black flashing is TOO ANNOYING to use this extension. also, after hiding ads in low-res it doesn't go back to high-res unless I manually make it do so.

It will randomly not play certain streams, claiming they're "encrypted". Thankfully this is free or I'd ask for money back.

Just buffering when hiding ads. So same/same.

Doesn't block ads, you just get a loading screen till the ad is finished playing

Inconsistent behavior that seemed to just just waited out the ads instead of skipping them entirely.

Exact same issues it's always had on twitch, just says "Hiding ads", rather than blocking them and continuing to play the stream. Rare updates to this addon make it even worse because it'll be literal months before the creator even looks at it, let along updates it.

Can't recommend at all any more

Broke today due to Twitch being Twitch again

Streams stopped loading. It just says "Broadcast ended" on every stream now..

It stopped working. I no longer can use this addon. Every stream i go to says that the channel is offline. Twitch has changed something the way this addon works. Please fix.ty

clicking on the icon, refreshing, restarting does nothing

You can't log in because it won't show up. You try to log into twitch and it doesn't work therefore you can't even use chat.

Incompatible with 7TV addon. Would change to 5 stars if it was.

clipping and following/unfollowing do not work anymore. and neither does channel points or twitch drops

Been using this add-on for almost two years, but about a week ago the player no longer works on any stream, as it shows the "broadcast ended" screen instead. Last update is approaching a year ago now and this add-on may or may not be updated in order to fix the player. Use other solutions if you want to block twitch ads unless the player gets a sudden update.

Literally doesn't work at all for me as of Dec 2022. The icon shows up at the top of twitch but not a single other thing changes or is added.

This extension continually looses more functionality due to lack of updates. As of November 2022, chat authentication is broken and ad blocking is inconsistent. I recommend avoiding the alternate player due to its current state of disrepair.
