Video Downloader for all websites — save videos you can watch in your browser to your computer.

What it does
• Detects playable videos on the page you are viewing.
• Lists available qualities (resolution, bitrate, codecs) in the popup.
• Saves the selected stream as a single file.
• Supports segmented streams (HLS / m3u8 and MPEG-DASH / mpd) by joining segments.
• For live streams: press Record, then Stop to save the captured portion.

Supported sites
• Facebook
• Instagram
• TikTok
• Vimeo
• Many other sites that serve standard HLS, DASH, or direct MP4 / WebM streams.

Not supported
• YouTube (per Firefox Add-ons policy).
• Audio-only files, documents, images, or other non-video media.
• DRM-protected video (Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, etc.).
• Sites that explicitly block third-party download.

How to use
1. Open the direct page of the video (e.g. tiktok.com/@user/video/123…), not the home feed.
2. Play the video — the toolbar icon turns amber when a stream is detected.
3. Click the extension icon, pick a quality, and press Download. For live streams use Record, then Stop.
