After yet another mishap during a video playback, I searched for something like this without any hope it could be done. It is done, and it works, thank you !

this does work as intended.
future improvement suggestions:
-add all the youtube shortcuts to the disable list.
-add the option to select witch shortcuts you want to disable.
Doing a good job, keep it up.

I use a tiling windows manager and change virtual desktops (very frequently) with Super+[number] keys so this has been happening to me constantly.
