YouTube Mix Remover keeps YouTube playback under your control.

YouTube can sometimes turn a normal video click into a Mix or radio queue, adding a stream of related videos you never asked for. It can also add unwanted videos when you use YouTube’s Add to queue option.

This extension prevents that behavior while preserving playlists you intentionally open.

• Prevents YouTube from creating unwanted Mix or radio queues when opening individual videos.
• Prevents additional Mix videos from being added when using Add to queue.
• Keeps the video you selected.
• Preserves the queue that was already there.
• Keeps explicitly opened playlists working normally.
• Preserves useful parameters such as timestamps.
• Works with YouTube’s normal navigation without forcing unnecessary page reloads.
• Includes a simple enable/disable toggle.
• Does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data.

If you intentionally open a normal YouTube playlist, it remains a playlist.

For example, links containing a standard playlist such as list=PL... are left alone. Only automatically generated Mix and radio queues are removed.


Available for Firefox and Chromium-based browsers, including Chrome and compatible browsers.


This extension does not collect or transmit user data. It does not include analytics, advertising, tracking, or external services. All processing takes place locally in the browser.
