A browser extension that keeps Shorts out of your way: it hides Shorts links/shelves/tabs across YouTube, and if you do end up watching one, a watch-time budget closes all Shorts tabs once it runs out.

• Hide Shorts everywhere (on by default, toggle in the popup): strips Shorts links, shelves, sidebar entries, tabs, and buttons out of YouTube's UI as you browse
• Watch-time budget (default 10 min) for any Shorts you do open directly: the clock only runs while a Shorts tab is the active, focused tab — switching tabs or windows pauses it
• The badge shows minutes remaining (red = counting, orange = paused, gray = cooldown)
• When the timer fires, all Shorts tabs are closed and a cooldown begins (default 30 min) during which any newly opened Shorts tab is closed instantly
• Click the toolbar icon to change the timer/cooldown lengths, see the countdown, close Shorts immediately, cancel the timer, end the cooldown early, or toggle Shorts-hiding
