Comment Vaccinator does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, browsing history, or user information.

What the Extension Does

• The extension runs locally in your browser on YouTube pages
• All your settings (filter toggles, keyword list, word count preferences) are stored locally using chrome.storage.local — this never leaves your device
• The extension does not use analytics, tracking, cookies, or remote servers of any kind

Permissions Explained

• storage — used solely to save your preferences locally on your device
• tabs — used only to detect open YouTube tabs so the extension can re-filter comments when you change settings
• https://www.youtube.com/* — required for the content script to filter comments on YouTube pages

Third Parties

Comment Vaccinator does not communicate with any third-party servers, APIs, or services. Your UPI donation ID shown in the popup is static text displayed locally — no payment data is processed or transmitted by the extension.

Changes

If this policy changes, the extension version will be updated and this page will be revised accordingly.
