cvOomph에 대한 개인정보처리방침
- Introduction
The cvOomph Browser Extension (available for Chrome and Firefox) is a productivity tool designed to streamline the job application process. It allows users to capture job descriptions directly from supported job boards (Seek, Indeed, Jora, JobsDB, and Reed) for use within the cvOomph AI-tailoring ecosystem. We prioritize user privacy through a "Surgical Activation" model.
2. Technical Permissions and Data Handling
To ensure a seamless and private experience, the Extension uses the following technical permissions:
Tabs & Navigation (tabs and webNavigation): These permissions are used exclusively to detect when a user has navigated from cvOomph.com to a supported job board. This allows the Extension to remain dormant by default and only "wake up" during an active user-initiated workflow. We do not read, store, or transmit your general browsing history.
Website Content: When the Extension is active and a user clicks on a job title, the tool parses the HTML of that specific page to extract the job title and description. This data is temporarily stored in your browser's local memory.
User-Initiated Activation: Feature injection is strictly event-driven. The Extension only operates on tabs that have been explicitly "primed" by an action on the cvOomph web application.
- Limited Use Disclosure
The Extension strictly adheres to the Google Chrome Web Store User Data Policy.
We only use the data to provide or improve the core user-facing features of the Extension.
We do not use the data for any secondary purposes, such as marketing, advertising, or creditworthiness assessments.
- No Sale of Data
cvOomph does not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. Your data is never shared with data brokers or advertising networks.
5. Data Protection and Security
Industry Standards: The platform implements industry-standard data protection protocols, including data encryption in transit (SSL/TLS) and secure access controls.
Risk Acknowledgment: While we implement robust security measures, the user acknowledges that no online system is completely infallible. Data loss risks cannot be entirely eliminated, and the platform is not liable for data loss resulting from third-party security breaches.
System Support Access: The user explicitly grants the platform owner and authorized system staff operational access to their account data, uploaded files, and history strictly for troubleshooting, technical diagnostics, and system support purposes.
