Scroll Progress New adds a number indicator on the top-right corner of a web page, which shows the percentage of the scrolling position in relation to the total vertical scrolling length of the page.

This is like what the scrolling bar do when its viewed in the side of a program window, which shows graphically the current scrolling position. This extension uses a percentage number to give the user a more exact visual feedback of the current view in relation to the complete page.


This extension features

• The number appears when the user scrolls and hides after a some miliseconds.
• Make mental bookmarks by remembering the percentage of the position of a content of interest.
• Know the scrolling position when the user has hided the scroll bar
• The extension adds no buttons to the Firefox interface. The indicator appears in the web page.
• The indicator is customizable (customization options include: position, text size, transition duration, opacity, text color, and others)

The extension requires no action from the user. The indicator appears automatically when the user scrolls in every page that is posible complete page vertical scrolling. The indicator do not appear in pages with static layouts like Gmail.

This extension tries to implement in WebExtensions the legacy add-on named Scroll Progress made by Sepand Parhami.
