This extension is designed to enhance the U-Cursos platform experience. We value your privacy and limit data transmission to the absolute minimum required for the extension's features to function.

1. Data Collection and Transmission
   The extension does not track your browsing history or collect background analytics. Data is only transmitted when you explicitly use the AI Chat (Gemini) feature. When you choose to send a forum post, thread, or custom text to the AI assistant, that specific text is transmitted securely via HTTPS to the Google Gemini API (generativelanguage.googleapis.com).
2. Data Storage
   All configuration settings (such as your API key, toggled features, and theme preferences) and chat history are stored locally on your device using the browser's native storage API (browser.storage). We do not own, operate, or transmit this data to any external servers or third-party databases.
3. Third-Party APIs
   By utilizing the AI Chat feature, you are interacting with the Google Gemini API. The processing of that data is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. It is highly recommended to keep your API keys secure.
