Type Arabizi, get Arabic. In any text box, on any website.

Write mar7aba and get ابحرم. Write kifak and get 7 .كفيكaki reads Arabizi the way people actually type it, digits and all: 7 is 3 ,ح is 2 ,ع is a hamza or a ق depending on your dialect, and short vowels are handled the way Arabic spelling handles them.

OFF UNTIL YOU TURN IT ON
7aki does nothing on a site until you ask it to. Press Alt+S (Control+S on a Mac) or click the toolbar icon to turn it on for the site you are on. Press it again to turn it off. Each site is remembered, so your chat app can stay in Arabic while everything else stays
exactly as it was.

NEVER IN THE WRONG FIELD
Password, email, username, phone and verification code fields are never touched, even on a site where 7aki is on. Web addresses, @handles and #tags stay in Latin letters.

HOW IT WORKS
Suggestions appear under the box as you type.
Space or Tab accepts the word.
The up and down arrows pick another suggestion.
Esc keeps what you typed in Latin letters.
Enter still sends your message, in Arabic.
Ctrl+Z brings the Latin back if you change your mind.

Pick from 21 dialects, from Lebanese and Egyptian to Gulf and Moroccan. 7aki also learns from the words you pick, so it gets closer to how you write the more you use it.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything runs on your device. The dictionary ships inside the extension, suggestions are worked out locally, and what 7aki learns about your spelling stays in your browser. Nothing you type is ever sent anywhere, and the extension makes no network requests at all.
