AI Sidebar Chat is a chat panel for Firefox that talks to any OpenAI-compatible API and can "see" the page you are on.

• Sidebar on the right, opened with a hotkey (default Ctrl+Shift+Y) or the toolbar button; Esc always hides it
• Page context: the text of the current page (or just your selection) is attached to your question automatically
• Works with OpenAI, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Z.ai and local servers (Ollama, LM Studio, llama.cpp) — you provide the base URL and API key
• Optional vision mode: attaches a screenshot of the visible tab for vision models
• Streaming answers (SSE), Markdown rendering, one-click code copy, stop and retry
• Customizable hotkeys (also via about:addons), resizable panel, dark/light theme
• History, settings and the API key are stored locally in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere except the API endpoint you configure
