For people saying this does not work - someone else rated saying that it only worked if they had nothing in their cart because the cart sidebar breaks this. if you also install the extension that hides your amazon cart sidebar, it makes this extension work again.

if you move to the next page it will say that it is sorting by featured but if you look at the number of reviews on each item you will see that they're still in descending order by number of reviews.

The number of reviews sorting option shows up in the normal sorting options dropdown which is nice. Sorting worked for me after selecting a category

Was initially put off by the few recent reviews that say it doesn't work, but I can confirm it certainly does at the time of my review! Just make sure you select a category on the left side first.

This addon still works as long as you're searching in a category. If you search "iphone charger" but don't select the "Cell Phone Chargers & Power Adapters" department on the left side, it's not going to work.

I believe this addon has finally fully died. A month or so ago I was struggling to get it to activate. Now it's no longer functional on any subcategory I define. It's a shame. I salute you for the proper products you've helped me find with this. Based on it's last update date, I doubt it'll have a future. Good work either way.

Works just fine as long as you've read the instructions:

"You will need to select department/category on the left side to get the sorting to work correctly."

I don't really see this as an issue, Amazon typically automatically selects relevant categories during a search anyway.

This is working again! Thanks for fixing it. It once again works (on 1/15/2020 in FireFox 72) just as before.

After a search, you MUST select a department from the lefthand pane, or it won't work. Do that, though, and then you will have an additional option under the Sort dropdown listed as "Number of Reviews."
