Bargn is a price comparison extension for UK shoppers. Open a product page, click the Bargn icon, and it tells you one thing: buy now, buy elsewhere, or wait.

No pasting links. No copying URLs into another site. Bargn reads the product off the page you are already on, then checks the other shops for the same item.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PRICE COMPARISON TOOLS

You get a verdict, not a chart. Most price trackers show you a graph and leave you to interpret it. Bargn compares the prices and then says what to do, with the saving in pounds.

It tells you which prices it actually verified. A price we opened the retailer's page and read ourselves is shown plainly. A price we only found listed somewhere is labelled unconfirmed. Other comparison tools show you both and let you find out the hard way which one was real.

It knows when to leave you alone. If you are already on the cheapest offer, Bargn says so and you buy with confidence. That is a useful answer, not a failure.

It does not touch the page. No injected adverts. No rewritten affiliate links on your checkout. No coupon popup covering the buy button. Bargn reads; it does not interfere.

Free accounts get 5 price checks a month. No card, and you sign up inside the popup in a few seconds without leaving the shop you are browsing.

If you need more, paid plans are available at bargn.net. Nothing is ever charged inside the extension.

PRIVACY

On the shops listed above, Bargn checks whether the page you are on is a product page, so the toolbar icon can show that a comparison is available. That check runs entirely inside your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere until you click the icon and ask for a price comparison.

On every other site, Bargn does nothing at all.

It does not follow you around the web, it does not build a history of the sites you visit, and it does not sell your data to anyone. The permissions it asks for are the minimum needed to compare a price: read the product title and price from the tab you clicked on, and keep you signed in between pages.
