Numerous bug fixes and improvements.
Dragging is rebuilt. The scroll wheel now works while you hold an item, and dragging to the top or bottom edge of the list finally scrolls it. Every folder picker now shows your real folder tree instead of the previous list. Multi-select got three changes: new pleasant animations, each folder has a button that selects everything inside it, and folders open and close while you are in multi-select now. The multi-select button itself turns red while the mode is on for better guidance on how to exit the mode. A change covering more than 200 bookmarks was being cut short previously. It is no longer. Renaming a folder was never recorded as your own change, so the rename never reached your other devices via Gitlab sync. It does now. Folder order now syncs. Rearrange your bookmarks or folders on one device and your other devices follow. A renamed folder now keeps its place on your other devices instead of moving to the bottom of the list. When you connect to a GitLab repository that already has bookmarks, you now choose: merge both, replace this device's bookmarks with the cloud, or replace the cloud with this device's. Connecting to a repository now shows its progress instead of a button that only says Connecting. Connecting a device to a repository no longer creates duplicate bookmarks. A merge now puts new bookmarks exactly where the cloud has them. Before, folders could end up below loose bookmarks. When this device and the repository already hold the same bookmarks, connecting skips the question and just connects. Your top-level folders are now listed with the fullest one first.

Updated changelog naming to Event Log. Errors now appear in Event log. Fixed spacing and sizing in status bar. other small bugfixes

Migrated cloud sync from GitLab snippets to project repositories. Added gitlab-store.js, a shared adapter with snippet and project backends behind five operations, loaded by importScripts in Chrome and by the manifest scripts array in Firefox. Added a setup dialog, a migration card, a migration and stopped-sync modal, Change Repository, and a confirmation before writing into a repository that already holds bookmarks. Added store kind and branch to storage, and cleared them on disconnect. Split the failed-sync flag from the deferred-sync flag. Added full-store detection to the background workers. Made Review changes answer a click when nothing is held. Showed the join option during migration. Claimed local bookmarks as the device's own on first connect. Compared titles trimmed. Cleared the failure flag on store switch, on disconnect, and on every success path. Renamed user-facing text from Snippet to cloud, added direction arrows to the two overwrite buttons.

Improved duplicate bookmark detection and handling

Entering Sync settings no longer triggers a sync.
Fixed an issue where bookmarks were not matching to proper tree structure due to an an improper array

Bug Fixes:
- The scan counter no longer jumps around - Expanding a second folder while a scan was already running started a separate count with its own total, and the two took turns writing to the same display, so the figure flipped between them - "40/125" then "12/137" then "41/125". Expanding now adds to the running total instead of starting a rival count, so the number only ever climbs and the total stays put.

Sync now runs without BMZ being open, and anything that would remove, rename or overwrite a bookmark waits for approval rather than travelling silently, with a card at the top of the list explaining a paused sync instead of a pop-up. Scanning is corrected throughout: the link and safety toggles were saved somewhere the background script could not read, so background scans ignored them entirely and blocklists downloaded even with safety checking switched off; folders were recorded as scanned when nothing had been checked, clearing the cache left the scan record behind, so nothing rescanned afterwards; and URLVoids Report Not Found page was counted as a clean result, reporting sites as safe that nobody had ever examined. The status bar now has a single owner, so it reflects what is genuinely still running.

Fixed sync hanging when GitLab stopped responding. Added a clear button to the search box. Reworked GitLab sync dialog wording and layout. Quick Access add/remove now share one slot above Delete with a confirmation.

New Quick Access and Recently Opened tabs

QUICK ACCESS - Pin the bookmarks you reach for most to the top of the sidebar. Right-click any bookmark and choose "Add to Quick Access", or drag one onto the section. Drag and drop to rearrange if desired. Quick access pinned links are mirrors, not copies. There is only ever one real bookmark: delete it from its folder and the pin goes with it, while removing the quick access link leaves the bookmark untouched. Pins cannot be dragged out into your folders, so rearranging them never moves anything real.

RECENTLY OPENED
The last 5 bookmarks you opened from BMZ, one click away for easy repeat access. It shares a collapsible row with Quick Access, so neither takes up space when you are not using it, and either can be hidden from the Display Options button in the toolbar.

PINS SYNC ACROSS YOUR DEVICES
If you use GitLab snippet sync, your Quick Access pins travel with your bookmarks to every device, including the Chrome extension, the web app, and android app as well. Pins made on two devices merge rather than overwrite each other, and unpinning on one device carries across instead of coming back on the next sync.

FIXES
- The Welcome and Cross-Device Sync cards no longer reappear every time you open a private window.
- Restored the HaGeZi threat intelligence blocklist, which had stopped loading entirely after the project reorganized its files.

v4.7 — Skip merge dialog when bookmarks already match
When connecting to an existing GitLab snippet, BMZ now compares a checksum of the local bookmarks against the remote snippet before showing the replace/merge dialog. If they are identical, the snippet is connected silently with no dialog shown. The dialog still appears as normal when local and remote differ.

Fixed GitLab Token Link - "Create Token on GitLab" button now points to the correct URL after GitLab moved Personal Access Tokens from /-/profile/ to /-/user_settings/.

- Replace Remote Snippet with Local - New option in the sync setup dialog when connecting a GitLab snippet. Overwrites the remote snippet with your current local bookmarks, in addition to the existing Keep Local, Merge, and Replace Local with Remote Snippet options.

Improvements:
- Drag-and-Drop Reliability - Overhauled drop zone logic. Each item now acts as a single unified drop target (top half = insert before, bottom half = insert after) replacing the previous three competing zones per gap. Folder headers additionally support drop-into on the bottom half. Fixed an index offset bug that caused items to land one position too far down when reordering within the same folder.
- Context Menu Redesign - Right-click and hamburger menus now open as a slide-in panel from the right edge of the sidebar instead of a fragile absolute-positioned popup. Eliminates clipping, size inconsistencies, and overlap issues. Click outside or press Escape to dismiss.
