This extension provides practical information about what a browser fingerprint is, and shows whether the currently visited website collects a fingerprint. A popup displays whether a canvas, WebGL or audio fingerprint was captured. Additionally, the use of sensor, battery level and location tracking is displayed.

Warning: I do not recommend to have this Add-on installed permanently. It has been shown that a website can theoretically fingerprint the add-ons a user has installed by checking the scripts executed in the Global JavaScript Namespace (this add-on runs own code in the Namespace, which is common for add-ons). By permanently installing this add-on an aggressive anti-privacy website might gain an additional identifier to your online identity. Just use it for informational and research purposes :)

The extensions text is all in german as this is the intended target audience. I have created an english translation of the extension's product page to make it accessable to everyone. I might add an english translation to the extension later on
