Fork of she-llac/claude-counter with added background polling.

Shows an approximate token count (with a 200k-context bar), a cache timer, and your native session (5-hour) and weekly (7-day) usage bars on claude.ai. The bars read straight from Claude's own usage data, so they're more precise than the rounded percentages on the /usage page.

Weekly usage also shows a separate bar for any model-specific cap, such as Fable.

The token estimate also accounts for uploaded images and PDFs, not just text.

Usage bars refresh about once a minute while the tab is visible, so they stay current even when you're using Claude from another device or browser, not just when you send a message in this tab.

All processing stays local. No external servers, no tracking. Requests are made only to claude.ai, using your existing logged-in session.
