Content Zapper

Precision element removal for Firefox. Hover to highlight any page element, click to zap it gone. Your rules persist across refreshes.

How It Works

Click the toolbar icon or press Alt+Z to activate Zapper mode. A red dashed border follows your cursor, hover over any element to preview it, then click to remove it. Press Esc to exit. Made a mistake? Alt+Shift+Z undoes the last zap.

Permissions Explained

• \<all_urls> - required to inject the zapper overlay and remove elements on any website you visit
• activeTab - gets tab info when you activate the zapper
• storage - saves your zap rules, blacklist, and preferences locally on your device
• contextMenus - adds a right-click menu option to toggle Zapper mode
• scripting — communicates with content scripts

All data stays on your device. No servers, no analytics, no tracking.
