contra. is a lightweight addon that helps you regain control over your digital life: deep work sessions become much easier when you don't have access to distractions on your working machine. When it is just impossible to be distracted, you have no other choice than to fully commit to the work you have to do.

To install hardcore mode and make the addon completely impossible to bypass, refer to this guide (currently only on Linux).

Features
- 📜 Blocklist and whitelist
- ✍️ Phrase mode: allows you to set a phrase and only unblocks if you type it in. The phrase has to be something profound, ideally an oath, so that when you type it, you make a conscious decision to leave your flow state.
- ⏲️ Timer mode: allows you to set a duration and a "pause phrase" (the same principle as above). When blocked, if time is not up, you cannot stop it, but you can pause by typing in the phrase by 2 minutes.
- 🔞 Adult mode: when enabled, blocks all explicit websites from two constantly updated lists (this and this). Works independently from other modes.
