Datarag is a browser extension that saves and indexes everything you read online, so you can search your full browsing history in plain language or ask an AI about it. It is AI browser history search and personal web memory in one.
Firefox's built-in history only stores titles and URLs, while Datarag indexes what is actually on the page, so you can search by describing what you remember instead of the address. Everything is encrypted with your personal PIN, and your browsing data is never used to train AI models.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Search everything you've read. Describe the article, the answer or the page in your own words. That article about sourdough starters from March? Found it.
• Chat with your history. Open the Chat and ask "What did I read about machine learning last month?" The answer comes from pages you have actually read.
• Remember what was said in Google Meet. Datarag saves Google Meet's live transcription automatically. Search it later, or pin the transcripts of one project and ask questions about only those meetings. No bots join your call.
• Keep the same history on all your devices. What you read on your laptop, you can find on your desktop.
• Connect other AI assistants. MCP integration lets external AI assistants query your history.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• PIN-derived, zero-knowledge encryption. Datarag's servers only hold encrypted data and cannot read it.
• Incognito and private browsing are never captured. Filters exclude adult, gambling and social media content from indexing.
• If you forget your PIN, your data cannot be recovered. That is the trade-off of true zero-knowledge encryption.
• Delete your account and all data is removed immediately.
WORKS WITH
Firefox and other Chromium-based browsers. Datarag runs in the background using under 50MB of RAM and only processes pages after they have fully loaded.
