This shouldn't need to be an app. It should be an option or bookmarks should default to the last choice made. Fuck the Other Bookmarks Folder. I lost so much shit because I was used to old behavior.

This fixes the new, horrendous behaviour introduced in Firefox 58: bookmarks going to Other Bookmarks by default. Now I have them go to the bookmarks menu like they used to, where they are more easily accessed.

Crazy that I have to add an extension to use the bookmarks menu as default instead of the new, useless "other bookmarks" folder. What was Mozilla thinking?

The extension has excellent feature not found in Firefox. You can bookmark links in a specific folder with a single click.

It does what it says it does perfectly, couldn't ask for more.

Great plugin and is really handy.

However, I wonder can I set more than one quick bookmark icon? I have a couple of projects working and hope I can quickly save my bookmarks to them.

Good addon. One issue though. The Quick Bookmark icon (red/grey) in the URL box is not round on my screen in FF57. It is elongated horizontally with my display resolution at 3840x2160.

Can the icon be fixed to be always round?

Not bad, usefull. But if i drag n drop from address bar to bookmark bar, it automatic move it to default location. I think it must be an option.

Great, a one click add bookmark (or delete), even though it's adding to the default bookmark list of choice only. And I like the recently added option to save either to the top or the bottom the default bookmark list. Wish this extension would somehow add the' add bookmark here' function to it's already very capable features.

I understand that any 'add bookmark here' needs 2 clicks, and FF 56 will not support the way ABH2 does the trick. What about a right click on a folder of the bookmark toolbar handled by the Default Bookmark Folder add-on? Could an add bookmark show up in that right click context menu, that sets new default folder to the folder clicked on, and stores a bookmark that to that new default folder?

finally an addon like the old "Add Bookmarks here²" its just crazy that it's not standard
