Clip products from almost any retailer's site into DesignFiles. Open the clipper on a product page, click Autofill, and AI fills in the name, vendor, price, dimensions, materials and images for you. Review it, then save to your library or a project.

What you can do

• Autofill with AI – fills in the vendor and product name, SKU, description, dimensions, materials/finish, pricing and lead time from the page you're on.
• Pick the right images – choose up to 8 product images, grab one straight from the page with the Image Picker, or capture any part of the page with the Screenshot tool.
• Fill in a field from the page – use "Pick from page" to copy text from the page into a field.
• Set your pricing – unit price, MSRP, markup and client price, plus estimated shipping cost.
• Keep internal notes private – add tags and general notes that stay behind the scenes, separate from what clients see.
• Save where you need it – send the item to My Library or straight into a project.

How it works

1. Sign in to your DesignFiles account and connect the clipper from the app.
2. Open a product page and click the toolbar button to open the clipper in the sidebar.
3. Click Autofill, check the details, and save.

Saved products are ready to use in mood boards, proposals, invoices and tear sheets.

Requirements

You need a DesignFiles account. The clipper works in Firefox for desktop.

Your data

When you click Autofill, the clipper sends the prod to DesignFiles to extract the product details, andsaving sends the item to your account. If you allow technical data when you install, it also sends error reports and save statistics (counts and timings only, no page contennd the clipper works the same.
