    the developer even sent me a note to let me know fixes had been implemented. thank you!

    (from 18 days ago) said it saved the file, the file was 0bytes. obviously didn't work. tried several variations of logins and permissions, etc. nada.

    We know how frustrating that is — saved file, 0 bytes, nada. YouTube's algorithm change broke it on our end. But v24.1 is out and fixes it. Please update and your downloads should work properly now!

    Earlier it used to download Youtube videos nicely, but not so at least in the past few weeks. Often, in 8 out of 10 cases, it displays network error, retrying. After 3 attempts it hangs. A bit frustrating. Secondly, it does not facilitate donating in Indian Rupees through Indian gateways like Gpay. In these times of scams I avoid foreign gateways

    Hi Hoshila21Jun! It's downloading nicely again — v24.1 is out and fixes the issue that crept in due to a YouTube algorithm change. Please update and it should be back to how it used to work. Hope you enjoy using it again!

    Amazingly simple, works seamlessly and downloads quickly. Love it!
    For everyone complaining about the tool not working right now, you need to check Dishita's page at yourvideofile dot org slash v24 underscore temp (Not sure if putting a link in here will get me in trouble with Firefox) but that page on his website contains the current temporary fix for the issue which has been caused by Youtube and Google's constant needless changes to the platform.
