Fixes for Firefox for Android:

• The pause button rendered as an orange emoji on Android. Icons are drawn
properly now, so they look the same everywhere
• The on/off button was hard to see — button contrast now meets the
accessibility minimum
• The block screen took its size from the page behind it, so it came out
small on some sites and large on others. It's now consistent, and larger
• The settings page fits a phone screen: no more sideways scrolling

Also: the installed version is shown in the settings header and at the
bottom of the popup, so you can tell which version you're running.

New — site controls

Every supported site now has the same four controls, separate from its
content filters:

• Turn Sift off on a site from the popup, without losing that site's settings
• Block a site outright, behind a Sift screen with a "15 more minutes" escape
• Set a daily time limit (5m to 2h); the same screen appears once you're over.
Time is only counted for sites you've set a limit on, only while the tab is
the active one, and only on this device
• Force dark mode — the site's own dark theme where Sift knows it, and a
fallback for sites that have none

New — YouTube

• Hide thumbnails: rows collapse to titles and channel names
• Hide comments
• Hide community posts in the feed (channel Posts tabs are left alone)
• Hide live streams in the feed and in suggested videos
• Hide Mix and radio playlists in the feed
• Hide Playables and "Explore more topics" shelves
All of these work on m.youtube.com too.

Fixed

• Pause only ever stopped the CSS. Redirects, autoplay toggles and scroll
blocking kept running while paused — they now stop, and undo themselves
• The popup and badge were blank on m.youtube.com, m.twitch.tv and Pinterest
• Twitter/X: "Creator Studio" was never actually hidden — the link had
changed. Fixed, and there's a new option for the "Live on X" sidebar module
• Shortform now defaults to "hide" rather than "block"

• old.reddit.com is supported
• The popup and settings page were redesigned to match each other
• The "Max" preset is gone; each site now shows "Default" or a Reset button
• Requires Firefox 140 or later (142 on Android)
