I feel like this is the best privacy and ad-blocking add-on for Firefox.

It works so well, that it will disable some things such as typekit on typkit.com because it uses popups. I just disable it when I use that site, but it's worth the slight inconvenience.

Ghostery protects my privacy and blocks all stuff I don't need. Positive side effect: Websites load way faster!!! Highly recommended!

i have to disable Ghostery on several sites (even if there are nothing i'm blocking on the site in question) and this started recently before that there were no problems anywhere
