This is a simple web extension (for Chrome and Firefox) which helps open any video in the currently open tab in the mpv player (or any player using libmpv generally).

This extension requires a companion executable

Data collection
This extension does not collect any data, nor does it need to in any way. As such, issues should be reported to the Github issues tracker for this project.

Permissions

• Access to browser tabs: needed to read the current webpage URL to be passed to the clientside executable
