Lingopede Browser Companion turns every web page into a language lesson.
Highlight a word, right-click, and get an instant translation. Click a
word in a YouTube or Netflix caption and see what it means without
leaving the video. Save anything you don't know straight into your
Lingopede flashcard decks for spaced review later.

Built for language learners who want fewer tabs and more reps.

What it does

• Right-click translate. Select any text on any web page, right-click,
pick "Translate with Lingopede", and a clean popover shows the
translation, alternatives by register, and a one-tap save to a deck.

• Clickable YouTube captions. Replaces YouTube's native captions with
a version where every word is clickable. Click a word, see the
translation, optionally save the word or the full line. Pick your
target-language subtitle track in the YouTube player and the
extension follows it.

• Clickable Netflix subtitles. Same flow for Netflix. Switch to your
target-language subtitles in Netflix first, then click any word.

• Auto-pause on word click. Optional. Pauses the video the moment a
translation popover opens so you can read without missing the scene.

• Translator choice. MyMemory by default (free, no key required).
Gemini as automatic fallback when MyMemory misses or rate-limits.

• Saves to your decks. Every translation has a one-click "Save to
deck" button. The card lands in the deck you pick and is reviewable
on the web at lingopede.xyz or any companion app.

• Optional selection pill. A small green pill that pops under any
text you highlight, in case you prefer it to the right-click menu.
