It works but often it is slow. I click the new tab icon and then the tab opens and it takes a few seconds to redirect to my homepage. This is annoying when it happens so often. Firefox should have this feature built in!

If .jpg isn't a compatible format for the 'local file' option for new tabs, it's useless to me.

Works Great for me, Thanks! I sorta see how non computer savvy people can get a little confused by the settings page at first but its not confusing, its just simple. Just click custom URL in the drop down box and paste or type the web page you want and leave the drop down box on custom URL.

Hi, Really happy with the add-on. But it does not work on a 32bits system doesn't it? Not my computer but someone else I recommended it to have a 32bits laptop, windows 8.1 and they cannot install the add-on.

Very good! Only REALLY wish that firefox would let the could clear URL bar and then focus, so I could search right away.

Under the "preferences" of this add-on it states that this is waiting on a change from Mozilla... when can we do this Mozilla? I can do this in Chrome perfectly fine...

Why does this extension need to access browser history to make a new tab?

Love it! Works perfectly. Now when I hit Control-T it comes up with Google -- with the cursor in the search bar. Thank you!

New version. Focus on site doesn't work.

I use FF 59 64-bit, switch off all adds, and still focus not working. When I use new tab (about:home), and check box focus on site, there is no focus. There is no focus on address bar, and there is no focus on new tab (about:home).
The previous New Tab Override version worked fine.
