Tired of Shorts taking over YouTube? This extension removes them everywhere they show up:
• Homepage feed — Shorts shelves are hidden
• Subscriptions feed — Shorts from channels you follow are filtered out
• Search results — Shorts don't clutter your results
• Sidebar — the "Shorts" navigation link is removed
• Channel pages — the "Shorts" tab is hidden
If you ever land on a Shorts URL anyway (shared link, old bookmark, etc.), the extension automatically redirects it to the normal watch page, so it plays like a regular video instead of the vertical Shorts player.
No configuration needed — install and it just works. The extension runs entirely in your browser, doesn't collect or transmit any data, and doesn't need any special permissions beyond reading YouTube pages to hide the Shorts elements.
