Password-Toggle is a tiny Firefox extension that allows you to make the contents of password fields visible by pressing the Shift key three times, so you can check your input.

• The extension also handles dynamically added input fields; so it should work on all websites.
• The extension doesn't add elements to websites, so it can't interfere with the layout.
• Important: this extension relies on keydown and keyup events, so it may not work with touchscreen devices.

Security: "Access your data for various websites" sounds dangerous, but the extension uses this permission only to search for password input fields and equip them with the show/hide feature. The password text itself is never touched.
