Point at a UI problem, capture its visual and structural evidence, and export a fix-ready prompt for your coding agent.

Point

Start a capture from the browser toolbar or keyboard shortcut, then point at a broken element or drag around a visible region.

Shoot

Add a note describing what should change. Repeat across as many pages and problems as needed.

Review

Review the session in the browser side panel and choose which notes to include. Each capture can contain a screenshot, page URL, selector fallbacks, relevant DOM text and metadata, a bounded computed-style digest, capture geometry, and the note you wrote.

Export

Compile the selected evidence into an agent-readable Markdown prompt or download a ZIP bundle containing the canonical session, prompt, and referenced screenshots.

Private by design

Point & Shoot keeps extension data on your device. It does not upload captures, notes, screenshots, browsing information, or exported bundles. The extension requests temporary activeTab access only after you invoke it and never requests persistent access to every site. All executable code is packaged with the extension.

Current version

Capture annotated UI evidence and export a local fix prompt from Chrome or Firefox.

Browser support

Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers can install the Chrome build. Firefox and other Gecko-based browsers can install the Firefox build. Chrome 116 or newer and Firefox 109 or newer are supported. Safari support is planned separately.
