Policy Pal: Privacy Policy & Terms Analyzer 제작자: Pocket Pot
Read privacy policies and terms of service before they cost you. Policy Pal ranks the clauses that would change your mind, explains each in plain language, and quotes the exact sentence behind every finding — right beside the document.

Policy Pal reads a privacy policy or terms-of-service page beside the document itself and finds the few clauses that would change your mind. Every claim it makes carries the exact sentence it came from, so checking it takes seconds instead of another tab and another wall of legal text.
WHAT A REPORT CONTAINS
• One verdict, in one word: Standard, Notable, Concerning, Severe, or Unclear — followed by a single sentence naming the most important thing the document does. Most decisions end here.
• Up to five findings, ranked, each explaining the consequence for you and whether the clause is common, uncommon, or rare.
• A verbatim quote behind every claim. If Policy Pal cannot find that sentence in the page, it drops the claim rather than guessing.
• The same eight standard questions every time — data selling and sharing, cross-site tracking, retention after account closure, government requests, international transfers, export, deletion, and notice of changes — answered Yes, No, Partly, or Not stated.
• A second fixed set for terms of service: content licences, forced arbitration and class-action waivers, termination without cause, automatic renewal, liability caps, indemnity, governing law, and unilateral changes.
• “Find it on the page” highlighting that takes you straight back to the original clause.
WHEN TO USE IT
Before creating an account, buying a subscription, installing an app, or accepting updated terms. Policy Pal recognises English privacy policies, cookie policies, terms of service, terms and conditions, EULAs, and acceptable-use pages.
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Policy Pal stays inert until you ask for an analysis. It then sends the URL and text of that one page — not your browsing history, not your other tabs, not passwords or credentials. There is no Policy Pal account and no password to create; a random installation token is generated in your browser the first time you run an analysis. Exactly what is collected, kept, and deleted is at https://policypal.link/privacy
PRICING
One successful analysis free every calendar month. Premium is $9.99 per month and includes up to 100 successful analyses per calendar month. Manage, restore, or cancel from inside the panel — no account required for any of it.
WORKS IN
Firefox on desktop and Firefox for Android. A version for Chrome and Edge is at https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/policypal/kmenffkcibpooelojmedglgcalleaonf
HONEST LIMITS
The analysis is automated. It can be incomplete or wrong, and it is not legal advice. Policy Pal does not score a company out of ten and cannot promise it found everything — it reads one document and shows you the sentences it based its reading on. Deciding is still yours.
