"Proton VPN exists to serve our community", oh yeah?????? we the "community" are asking for a simple feature to pin/favore countries/servers SINCE THREE YEARS, READ THE REVIEWS THREE YEARS AGO. NOTHING IS HOLDING YOU BACK, JUST DO IT. Happy to have Proton btw ;)

Use Proton if you value security.

proton needs no introduction, i would say its one of the best vpn extentions and an app too right next to windscribe, basically the only two that have a free plan but boy is the paid plan so much better

Great VPN browser app, works out of the box on Mint Linux and Windows 11. Experience isn't as polished on Linux (yet), but updates are consistent and nothing breaks so I am happy. I could wish for finer exit server details presented in the web app, but if I am looking for something specific I can reference that information through the desktop app for now. I am looking forward to Proton's continuing development and success.

Cela fait plus d'un an que j'utilise Proton VPN (payant). Qu'il s'agisse de l'app (Linux ou Android) ou de l'extension pour Firefox, j'en suis ravi. J'ai utilisé pas mal de VPN depuis pas mal d'années, et Proton VPN (et Proton en général) est devenu incontournable pour moi ! Je pense aussi que le rapport qualité-prix pour la suite Proton est vraiment excellent, surtout dans un monde internet de mois en mois sûr !

Basically works perfectly. Highly recommend but you may have to fiddle with your system proxy settings if they're not set to auto detect

Original review: "Installs easy and looks simple enough. It connects but doesn't work at all in that all I get is "Unable to find the proxy server". I have allowed the permission for ProtonVPN to manage the setting so I don't know how it can be wrong. If I take away the permission it doesn't allow it to connect. Literally a fresh firefox install of the latest version. Connects to internet fine with no proxy or other funny business when turned off. Basically it looks like the thing connects and then breaks the Proxy settings to not use the tunnel."
