Browser extension

The Snowbot browser extension for Chrome and Firefox lets you access your saved prompts from any webpage. Its data handling is intentionally minimal:

What it stores — only the Personal API Token you paste in during setup. It is kept in your browser’s local extension storage (chrome.storage.sync), which may sync across browsers where you are signed in. Nothing else is stored by the extension.
What it sends — your token is sent only to snowbot.in to fetch your prompt library and run prompts. The extension contacts no other servers.
What it reads on a page — when you click “Insert into page”, the extension writes the selected prompt text into the text field you have focused on the current tab. It does this only on that explicit action, does not read or collect page content, and runs no background scripts on the pages you visit.
No tracking — the extension contains no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking of any kind.


You can disconnect at any time by removing the token in the extension’s Settings, uninstalling the extension, or revoking the token under Settings → API on snowbot.in.
