Updated favicon

New: Google Mail widget — shows your unread Gmail inbox and opens messages in a new tab on click. No Google sign-in required; it uses your browser's existing Gmail session and needs a one-time optional permission grant.

New: "Show preview text" toggle on the Outlook Mail and Google Mail widgets, to hide the message snippet and show only sender and subject.

New:
- Iframe widget — embed any webpage directly in your dashboard
- Excalidraw drawings now render inline in Obsidian notes
- Obsidian widgets: new vault note picker (browse/search instead of typing paths)
- Weather: optional inline multi-day forecast
- New "Font Scale" setting replaces per-widget font sliders — one control for all
- Configurable grid columns/spacing, full-page grid, and vertical centering
- Edit history with Ctrl+Z undo for layout changes
- New Invisible Spacer widget for custom layouts
- Layout presets (Focus/Grid/Goals) with visual picker

Improved:
- Smoother drag-and-drop and resizing
- More reliable — a crashing widget no longer breaks the whole page
- Various fixes to spacing, contrast, and settings consistency

New:
- Obsidian Daily Note and Pinned Note can now be edited directly from the widget — click the pencil icon to open a text editor, make your changes, and save them straight back to your vault.
- Obsidian Daily Note now has an "Open in Obsidian" button to jump straight to today's note.

Fixed:
- Quicklinks: choosing "URL" or "Upload" as a link's icon source no longer closes the "Manage Links" panel before you can enter the image.

What's new:

• New "Rain Radar" widget — live precipitation radar for any location, with a timeline, recenter, and light/dark/terrain map styles.
• Weather widget: optional click to open a detailed forecast (Google, Windy, or WetterOnline).
• Google Tasks is now available to everyone (previously Developer Options only).
• Redesigned bottom control bar — minimal by default, expands with more options while editing.

New since 1.7.1:

• New widgets: To-Do list, RSS Feed, Currency (live exchange rates, ECB data).
• Layout presets: reset your dashboard in one click to "Minimal", "Productivity", or "Full Dashboard".
• Command Palette (Ctrl+K): quickly search and add any widget type.
• Export/Import layout: save or share your widget layout as a file.
• Improved offline behavior: Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Outlook Mail, and Obsidian notes now show the last-loaded data instead of an error when a refresh fails.
• Bug fixes: onboarding tour sometimes reappeared on new tabs; Weather widget briefly showed wrong data when quickly switching location/units.
• Security: closed a gap in the proxy server's CORS check, requests are now also rate-limited per IP.

New Obsidian widgets for connecting to your local Obsidian app — no note content ever leaves your device. Added a guided onboarding tour for widgets. StartGrid is now licensed under GPL-3.0. Also fixes Firefox not showing StartGrid as the very first page on browser startup.
