This extension will suspend (discard) all your open tabs, except pinned tabs. This will stop the tabs from doing things in the background, without closing them. Suspending unused tabs can improve performance as well as preserve battery life because it reduces system load.

The effect is that your tabs:
* stop using CPU and RAM in the background
* stop playing audio
* stop making network requests / using bandwidth
* stop delivering notifications
It is easy to reactivate a tab, just switch to it and it'll be running again!

The number of tabs that you can suspend is shown on the extension button.

A temporary placeholder tab is opened when suspending the currently active tab in a window.

This extension is designed to be:
* easy to use (single button operation)
* small and auditable (less than 100 lines of JavaScript code)
* very lightweight (no recurring background tasks on timers)
